what do you think about East Stroudsburg, PA?

I am considering in moving to East Stroudsburg, PA.  But I have read that the schools are bad, also that the property taxes are so high and that more than 75% is for the schools and the drop out rate is so high, also I heard that the crime is high. Please if you know something can you tell me.

East Stroudsburg is the ghetto of the Poconos.  So many poor people from New York and New Jersey have moved there in the last 10 years.  Its schools are among the worst in the area.

Plus property taxes are high in the Poconos compared to the rest of Pennsylvania because they have to keep building new stuff for all the people who continue to move there from New York and New Jersey.

It's not THAT great of an area, but a lot of the areas are very beautiful.
