If I get a perm will the chemicals hurt my 8 month old cousin?

Okay if chemicals that you use to get your hair done hurt people, then hair stylists wouldn't use them. Your eight month old cousin is going to be fine. Do you know how many people get their hair permed or fixed and go around people and small children and babies? Many, many people. i doubt it unles the chemicals are deadly and toxic which would me you would probably be the first person to be affected, and to hair place can get sued
