Traveling from Seattle to Post Falls, ID?

Since both cities are relatively close to each other, I am wondering if I should fly to Spokane and then drive to Post Falls, or simply drive all the way.

I don't like the security procedure at airports, so I am thinking driving might be a better option. Are the roads in good condition? Are they congested?

The roads won't be "congested", but you will have to drive over the Cascade mountains, so be prepared for winter weather. Carry chains, warm clothing and food/water, follow the mountain pass reports and be prepared to delay your trip if the conditions get bad.

I'd just drive since its only about a 5 hours drive. Another option is to use Amtrak or Northwestern Trailways! Either way I'd avoid flying due to the time lost in airport proceedures. Good Luck!

i grew to become into there final month and stayed on the Sheraton... there grew to become right into a Regal Cinemas multiplex around the line. there are various lodges clustered jointly interior the middle of downtown Seattle. Downtown has a extensive thriving retail shops. A Fox activities bar, video clips, activities on the south end of downtown (Mariners this time of twelve months). The buses are loose interior the downtown section (a large style of the city) from 6am to 7pm; take benefit besides the fact that the city is extremely walkable. undemanding fare is around $a million.50 i think of. Duck excursions once you're into that. the gap Needle is on the north end of downtown on the Seattle center (take the Monorail from the Westlake center, $2 each way), admission is around $sixteen. Pike highway marketplace is a vacationer spot, a extensive outdoors fish marketplace (a lot of different issues on the marketplace, it covers various blocks). additionally on the marketplace is a 2-fers window for interior of sight theater, in case you have time, various the boats that circulate out onto the Sound for whale looking at (verify gray Line and others). once you're extremely into the background of the city, evaluate the Seattle Underground excursion, which... is going underground.

Drive. Even flying isn't that much faster considering you have to drive to the airport and wait.
