On average how long would it take an Adult to learn how to swim?Taking Daily 1 hour lessons?any tips?Ideas?

How long would you say it would take for an adult in their 30s who isn't very much athletic, who has a hard time learning sports to swim?

Its been their dream to learn because they love the ocean, lakes and rivers and is tired of not being able to join his friends

I would say, depending on you're level maybe a month or two... Or a couple of weeks. Being athletic doesn't mean that you'll do better or worser. Like for example, I know a friend of mine who started swimming in her 40s. Shes an average person, but very motivated to learn. She got the basics, like how to swim in a month. Now shes just lerning how to swim long distances and how to properly swim, like with all the forms. I would suggest taking 1 hour- 2 hour lessons. Don't do it everyday, but maybe twice or three times a week. because you're a beginner, if you do it every day, you might get sore eaisly. :] hope it helps!!
