I can tell you that they were forbidden to have an army after WWII. They still can't have one even today, even though Germany can and does and Italy can and does.
Edit-CHINESE people (esp. women) were kidnapped by JAPAN and enslaved (sometimes raped) during WWII I believe. China still has animosity against Japan over this. Sorry I realized after I typed this that I got that one backwards.
South Korea has kidnapped adult Japanese people to steal their passports and IDs to to learn the customs and conduct espionage and then probably kill them afterwards or enslave them (not known). Some children have also been kidnapped young by South Korea in order to indoctrinate them so that they can later be used as spies in Japan. Japan is still trying to get back adults and children kidnapped by South Korea even today. Google these subjects to find out more.

Sunflower, I think you've got it all backwards about who kidnapped whom during world war II. Read a history book (not a Japanese one if that's where you got your information).
