I am trying to replace a new mass airflow sensor on my 1997 Honda Passport but can't find the wiring clip. Does anyone know what it looks like or where I can locate it on my vehicle?

My little girl was attacked by a dog at the end of May. We found out today that she would have to have plastic surgery on her wounds. What would be the time limit on filing a suit on the dog owners for their homeowners insurance to pay the hospital, doctor bills and future doctor bills? It keeps asking me to remove battery and reattach but when I do and turn it back on it keeps telling me the same thing. I looked up the user manual and it didn't tell me how to get it out of safemode although it did mention the error code. Please help!!

Every time I take off from a stop the car shifts hard from first to second. It doesn't do it with any other gear change. I've had the fluid and filter changed recently and it didn't help at all. If there is anything that I can do short of completely replacing the transmission please help me out. I can't afford a new car right now and fixing this one is my only option.
